June Favourites 2016

Today, I will be sharing all the things that I have been loving from the month of June!

Black Floral Mesh Shirt from H&M
While I was in Japan, I visited the huge H&M store in Dōtonbori and found myself buying a couple of shirts. As soon as I saw this mesh shirt on the rack, I knew I wanted it. I fell in love with the symmetry of the design. This shirt is a little longer than usual shirts especially on the sleeves, but I personally love the longer length on this shirt. It has definitely become one of my favourite articles of clothing that I have purchased!

"Urban Goods" Camouflage Mesh Shirt from H&M
Another item I found while shopping at H&M was this camouflage mesh shirt that has a patch that says "Urban Goods". I have been wanting a camouflage shirt for the longest time so as soon as I saw this, I immediately got one! It is basically the exact same shirt as the floral mesh shirt except for the camouflage design and the patch, which might actually be my favourite part of the shirt. The patch just gives a different look to the common camouflage design. I usually wear this with black pants and my black Doc Martens and I absolutely love it!

Green Side Zip Bomber Jacket from Zara
This bomber jacket might be one of my favourite purchases from Japan. While it was a little pricey, the quality of the jacket makes it worth it. The jacket is made of polyester fabric that gives it a nice feel. It has a beautiful dark khaki green colour that I personally prefer over the black on this bomber jacket. The jacket is pretty lightweight as well so it isn't so heavy to wear or carry around. Aside from the two pockets found at the body of the jacket, there is also a zip pocket on the left sleeve that I find useful. I personally think that this jacket works well with black shirts, which is what I wear most of the time anyway!

Aveeno Baby Lavender & Vanilla Calming Comfort Lotion
My mom made me use this lotion to help treat the mild skin asthma that I have. Because I am not a fan of lotions, I did not enjoy applying this on my arms every single night. They make my hands feel very clammy and disgusting. However, seeing the improvement on my skin asthma, I can definitely say that this lotion is effective! Aside from it being an effective moisturizer, this lotion has a gentle and soothing scent that is kind to my nose, which I appreciate very much. I definitely recommend this for those of you looking for a lotion to use!

Finding Dory
Finding Nemo is my favourite movie of all time! It was basically my childhood, so when Pixar announced that Finding Dory was finally on its way, I could not be happier! While Finding Dory does pick up where the first movie left off, the story of the film begins way before Finding Nemo. The film shows a different side to Dory and is full of lessons not only for children, but also for parents. I thought the film was beautiful and heart-warming. It was definitely worth the wait!

Those are all the things that I have been loving from the month of June! As usual, the links to some of the products will be below. If you have any recommendations, feel free to comment down below! I hope you enjoyed this post, but that is all I have for today.

Until Next Time!

Recent Finds

I absolutely love going to bookstores and going through the different aisles hoping to find something to bring home and enjoy. Luckily, in my recent trip to National Bookstore, I found and bought a couple of items, and I thought that it would be great if I shared what I found with you, my reader!

1. Washi Tape ~ These have been around for awhile now and I have been wanting to get myself some. They are a little pricey though, but I think they're pretty worth it! National Bookstore only had a few options, so I only got three different designs and these were my favourites in the bunch.

I have been meaning to read more this summer, so I picked up two books while I was shopping. I purchased All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven and Dracula by Bram Stoker.

2. "All the Bright Places" by Jennifer Niven ~ After seeing this book around for about a year, I finally got around to purchasing it after seeing Zoella recommend it as part of her WH Smith's Book Club. I don't really know what to expect, but I'm hoping that it'll be good! I bought this copy for P495.

3. "Dracula" by Bram Stoker ~ I found this on a shelf misplaced from its group. It was probably one of those items people decided not to buy, so they placed them on the nearest shelf they could find. I was very interested in it because I don't really know the story behind Dracula. I picked it up and was surprised to find that it was priced at P99 only! I can definitely say that this is one of the best purchases I've had in awhile.

4. Wooden Alphabet Stamps ~ I stumbled upon this really cute set of wooden alphabet stamps while going through the arts and crafts section of National Bookstore. They reminded me of when I was a kid and I had my own set of alphabet stamps that my mom gave me. As soon as I them on the shelf, I immediately picked one up and placed it in my cart. This particular set is priced at around P250 - P350. There was a cheaper set but the letters were too small for me, so opted for this set.

The set comes with a small ink pad with 4 colours (red, blue, green, and yellow) which I thought was really handy. Because the ink pad is quite small, I might buy bigger ink pads in other colours later on.

Those are all the items that I found from my recent trip to National Bookstore. If you find anything in that you would purchase as well or have any suggestions as to what I should look into next time, leave a comment below! I'd love to read your comments!

I absolutely love bookstores. There are so many gems stored inside of them which makes it difficult for me to leave bookstores empty-handed. These good finds make me excited for the next time I go shopping at bookstores, which is pretty soon because it is sale season at malls right now! I definitely recommend that you go to your local bookstore once in awhile because I am certain that there are a lot of good finds there!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post. I have loads more posts coming so keep an eye out for them! I'm really excited for all for them, but that is all I have for you guys today!

Until Next Time!
