If there are two words to describe our last full day in Osaka, those two words would be: gardens and relaxing. We visited three different gardens that day and it was absolutely therapeutic. A breath of fresh air and a stroll through a couple of gardens was definitely a great way to spend our last day in Japan.
What really caught my eye was the balance between nature and man's own inventions. Gardens and sanctuaries full of plant life accessible through high-speed subways or highways and roads that are lined with houses and skyscrapers. I was in awe the entire time and that just motivated me even more to take photographs of what I saw that day.
Here are the places we visited on our fifth day in Osaka:

1. Keitakuen Garden: Located within Tennoji Park, the Keitakuen Garden is a beautiful sanctuary filled with all sorts of flowers and trees. The large expanse of land that the sanctuary covers is perfect for long, peaceful strolls. There is a small fee to pay for entrance, but I can definitely say that the Keitakuen Garden is completely worth it!
2. Abeno Harukas Rooftop Garden: The tallest skyscraper in Japan is a must-have in your itineraries! Not only does it have a huge shopping centre within its sixty floors, Abeno Harukas has a rooftop garden and a viewing deck where the view is just breathtaking. You'll definitely want to bring your cameras here because the view of Osaka from here is amazing! No need to worry about any entrance fees at the viewing decks though because the building is open to all!
3. Namba Parks Garden: Namba Parks is a shopping and office center that has an eight-storey garden full of beautiful, colorful flowers. We visited the place mid-afternoon and the atmosphere was perfect! The cool breeze and the warmth from the setting sun made everything so relaxing. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of shopping and walking!
Because this was our last full day in Japan and the sixth day was an airport and travel day, there are no more stories and photos from the trip left to share. That being said, this is the final entry in the Japan 2016 series. Blogging about Japan has been a wonderful experience. I learned so much about photography while I was in Japan. I would love to come back soon as I still have so much to explore! Osaka is just one of many cities in Japan that I have yet to visit. Just thinking about being back in Japan is making me so happy!
